About Us

Anchor was originally established in 1979 to supply staff to the catering and leisure industries. In 1992 Anchor relocated from Shanklin to new offices in Ryde when the company expanded in order to provide for staffing needs across the whole spectrum of Island business.

1997 saw Mr Norman Arnold acquire Anchor, who over the last 11 years has continued to drive the company on to bigger and better things. 2001 saw Anchor move to its current premises at St James’ Street, Newport, which ensured the perfect central location, right at the heart of the Island.

Anchor owes its success to our unique approach to recruitment, which sets us apart from other Island agents.

The Anchor Recruitment team is its biggest investment. In order for us to deliver on our promise to provide the highest possible level of service, we ensure that all our members of staff are regularly and consistently trained to ensure they are experts in their field. The team offer a wealth of experience as well as the desire to build long-term relationships with our clients so that we may work together to reach common goals.
